Emotions Vs Faith part 1

So it started off as a normal day, then bang! It all went
wrong. You missed your train, you forgot to pray, and you can just feel that it’s
going to be a bad day. But why do we feel this way at times? Let me tell you a secret
that most of you knew already. Our Emotion Kills! Encase you never noticed, often the worst
mistakes we make in life was when we was overtaken by an emotion. It could have
been lust, or anger, or even laziness. True or false?
Now I can hold my hands up and say I was always like this. When
thing never went as planned, or if I felt too weak, I would give into my emotions,
then bang! It’s out of control. That why it’s so important to keep our emotions
under control, because if not, we may find ourselves using our emotions more
then we use our faith!
So before we say the wrong thing, or do the wrong thing, let
us think first. Are we using our faith or emotions?
Emotions Vs Faith part 2 coming soon!

A Poem

Ones confused. One feels like a strong giant that just fell over life's small rocks. One knows what way to go, but don't know how to get there. One is walking strong, when darkness calls with a loud voice. The voice of light is so clear, but the voice of darkness is louder. How can one inherit victory when one does not fight? I am one. You are one. They are one desperately trying to find there way back home where there is no bricks, running water or doors to protect you. Home is where the walls can not fall. A place that can not be sold or payed for. One must be prepared for one can not tell when home will call.

The 24Hour Shop

This morning as I was going to my nearest shop I found that the shop was not open yet. looking around I saw a new shop that was open. So as I went into the shop I felt a relief because not only was the shop open at the right time, it had just what I wanted at a even better price. As I left the shop I was inspired...My point is this, God is also wanting something but is also struggling to find a 'open shop'. We represent the shops, and God is the buyer. When God wants to use someone he 'goes shopping' (Looks over the earth) for someone that is willing to be open 24hours to serve Him. The trouble is not the shops, because you will always find one, but the trouble is the shops availability. So what kind of 'shop' are you? The one that is open late and closes early or the shop that is open 24hours to serve the customers-(God) ?

Holding Back

In the book of Acts 5:1-5 it talks about the man and his wife that kept back part of there sacrifice.
As I was meditateing on this one thing came to my mind... Us as servants of God must give 100% of ourself to God right? And I'm sure that many of the so called servants of God do, or do they?
From the example from Acts the man and his wife indeed did present a sacrfice, the only trouble is they held back part of it.
Maybe he wanted to keep back some for a rainy day, or a little something to fall back on. Through our physical eyes thats being wise, but in Gods eyes thats being doubtful and un trusting. Giving your all to God is like a marriage, you are ether faithful or you are un faithful.
So please think about it, are you really giving your all to God? Or are you holding back, just in case?
